Our story
A small operation with a specific ambition.
Cofystead is founded
Cofystead Harvest Limited is registered as a licensed coffee exporter in Nairobi, with a focus on single-origin lots from small cooperatives.
First direct-buy contracts
Direct-buy relationships signed with washing stations in Nyeri and Kirinyaga. All lots cup-scored in Nairobi before shipping.
International roastery partners
First green containers shipped to specialty roasters overseas. Retail-roasted line launches for direct-to-drinker sales.

Sourcing
We source only from producers we've met and washing stations we've visited. Every lot has a name, a place and a story we can tell you.
Quality
Every lot is screen-graded and cup-scored by our team before it leaves Nairobi. We publish altitude, screen, moisture, water activity and cupping notes.
Logistics
Licensed export documentation, GrainPro-lined jute, and freight partners we've worked with for years. FOB Mombasa or CIF / DAP to your door.
